What I charge is not what I earn after expenses. The behind the scenes work extends much longer than our actual in-person session.
As a small business owner, the top factors influencing my pricing includes taxes (county, state, federal and business), cost of living, and market comparisons. Additional factors include advertising and marketing costs, travel costs, gear and software maintenance, the value of a professionally licensed and experienced photographer, post-production and administrative management time. All these factors contribute to a seamless experience for you as a client!
3) What is your average turnaround time?
For all packages, the average turnaround is 3-5 weeks. We know how hard it is to wait! All packages offer a few 24 hour sneak peaks, which means you receive a few images within 24 hours to share with loved ones. We also offer rushed delivery for photos (not videos), for an additional price.

4) I have never been in front of the camera, I’m a little awkward and don’t have any experience!
Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you are well prepared before our session and you absolutely don’t need any experience. I guide you throughout our session with prompts, poses, dad jokes and dynamic interaction so that your best self shines through the photos.
Additionally, our consultation includes my tips from over a decade of experience, I’ve seen it all, so ask all your questions – I’m hear to listen to your concerns and soothe your nerves!

5) MAY I HAVE THE RAWS?
Unfortunately, it is industry standard to not provide RAWs. RAW images are not the final product and are files that require color correction and adjustments within professional software. As a business owner, RAWs are not reflective of my portfolio – thanks for understanding!
7) Do you offer DESTINATION packages?
Yes! Some destinations I love and/or have lived in include Lake Tahoe, Oregon, Boston, new zealand, vietnam, thailand, indonesia, brazil, MEXICO, hawai'i and beyond.
6) I DON'T SEE a session I'm thinking of LISTED, ARE YOU FLEXIBLE?

8) what type of sessions do you not offer?
Some types of services that aren't my cup of tea include night photography, artificial lighting, and the unnatural alteration of faces + bodies ("photoshopping").
I no longer offer sessions for large weddings, large events, and boudoir.
